My Community, User Groups & Events Speaking Schedule

Monday, June 22, 2009

While the first half of 2009 is almost behind us, there is a lot more community work left to get done. As I try to arrange my life-work-community schedule I see that I have quite a busy couple of months coming up yet.

I am still waiting for responses from other community leaders and events such as the SDN/Open Force Europe, so I won’t list those here just yet. Meanwhile, here is what I’ve got lined up.

  • schedule6/26/2009 Sharepoint User Group DC
    Session: Sharepoint VS DotNetNuke (3:00pm – 4:00pm)
Prepare for the battle of the titans! Which platform is right for you? Each one has its uses depending on the audience.

  • 9/10/2009 Connecticut DotNetNuke User Group
Session: Mash-Up Your DotNetNuke Using RESTful APIs
You heard of "Web 2.0"... Google Maps, Windows Live, Twitter, Facebook... now let's build a mash-up of these services and programmatically interact with them using their published APIs.

During this session we will be developing creative DotNetNuke modules mashups and demonstrate the multitude of integration possibilities that help provide richer user experiences.

  • 10/28/2009 Frederick .net User Group

As you might have noticed, I am focusing on a specific topic instead of mixing it up as I usually do. The idea behind this “boring” line-up is that we usually improve with practice, so I figured that by the time I make it Frederick, MD I would finally know what I am talking about ;-)

If you are in the vicinity of any of these area then by all mean do come by, I would love to meet you in person and hopefully share some useful information with you.
