I am excited to join this great group of people in Las Vegas for this year OpenForce / DevConnections conference, and most of all honored for the opportunity to give the following talk.

Done in 60 minutes: Build a Custom Membership Provider

The Provider Model is a design pattern introduced in .net to provide a simple way to extend API functionality.  DotNetNuke uses this architecture to allow some of its core functionality to be replaced without modifying core code.  In this session Antonio Chagoury will give you a high-level overview of the core Membership Provider (ASPNet Membership) and demonstrate how to build and configure your own custom provider.

If you are planning on coming to the conference and stopping by this session, then I would like to hear from you. Feel free to send me your thought, ideas, and requests for how and what you would like to have highlighted during this session. While I cannot guarantee that I can cover everything you request within the given session time limit, it will definetely aid in putting together a compelling and user-centric session.

See you in Vegas!
